Porsche Loaner Car when at service???
#46
Haven't owned my car more than a year, so the first and only time I needed service I was going to Germany anyway so I brought my car. I was staying there for 3 days so I needed I rental car and the dealer said they could provide a car for 40 Euros a day with no limit of driving, which I think is a reasonable price since I didn't buy the car of them in first place.
The surprise was very positiv when they gave med the keys to a 2005 996 4S only driven 1000 km. I had expected a VW Golf or something similar so I think its a very nice deal.

Porsche won't even let you take the car home overnight as a demo. I tested an XKR the other day and they called me after I left and asked me whether I wanted it for the weekend.

Jim Ellis Porsche in Atlanta has provided either a Cayenne, Cayenne S, or Boxster to me. I did not purchase my first Porsche from them (I relocated from out of state) yet they provided loaners without question.

At Scottsdale Porsche I get a Budget rental for something like $10 a day for gas, was the same at the Land Rover and Mercedes dealers. One merc dealer had some ml and c class loaners but you had to ask for them in advance, otherwise it was a Toyota Corolla. I have upgraded (my $) a few times to try out different cars such as a Mini Cooper or an Audi.
