Thoughts on 06 C4S Pricing
Hello,
and sorry to bore you with a post that adds absolutely nothing to the board , except since I have read many posts about discounts I thought Id ask you guys the expert on my trip to the dealer today.
I currently own an 05 cayenne S, and am looking at getting into a carrera...anyhow they have:
06 c4s black on black, (what I wanted),
3500 miles
adaptive sports seats
Rear wiper
sport chrono package
heated front seats
self diming mirrors
and thicker steering wheel.
It had one previous owner......bought it for the wife that wanted to get something else....anyhow, msrp was 94k, they have it on sale for 87,999, I told them I would give them 72k for it....they will call me on Monday, the best I got them to agree on was 80k......
In your honest opinion what would be a fair price for this car?
Thank you, and I hope to join your camp soon.

Fair price? Who knows. Market value you can check on edmunds.com for your zip code.
If it were me, and I wanted to be driving it NOW, I'd look at the $7,999 dollars I just made by simply talking them down to $80K and write a check so that I could focus on something more interesting... like driving it to great steak house for a ribeye and a bottle of Hahn pinot noir to celebrate.

^ what he said.
Consider the first 997 C4S coupes arrived only a little over a year ago now, they're few and far between as pre-owned.......@ $80K that's ~15% off original sticker, not bad & 3500 miles is nothing.... esp if their story re: previous owner is true, guy's wife may have never even exercised the car (tire wear should be minimal)- maybe ask them to throw in a tire road hazard warranty & get the thing!

I too have been looking at an 06 C4s. 8OK is a good price. I'm looking at a more loaded version with 3k on the clock for mid 80s. Also a 5k S with less options in the mid 70's range. C4's seem to hold their value due to limited cars in the market

I'd jump on it at that price. C4/C4S/C4 anything are REALLY hard to come by this year. Porsche has other plans- just don't know what or why.
