Apparently, Porsche is no longer making MY07 C4 coupes. It took me over two months, two dealers, and two failed deals to finally get someone to tell me this directly. So I was never able to actually get a pro-forma invoice for an ordered car.

I really don't think I need the HP, PASM and 19" wheels, not to say the extra $10k expense of the S. The latest dealer was pushing me to updgrade. Maybe.

Otherwise, perhaps I'll wait for MY08, and DFI - - and maybe PDK.

This board is great. Ironically, though, after reading (and yes searching) a large number of threads I finally spec'd the car I wanted - - and as it turns out, with all this extra information my ideal option package is unusual enough so that there's not one on the lots/ships. And only a very few used ones might meet my spec.

So, it's back to the drawing board...

I wonder if it's really that no more are being made in 07 or that allocations are quite low and aimed toward the more profitable S model or even the Targa's. My recent experience (Mar build on C4S coupe) is that the 4S also has quite limited allotments. It took dealer trading and over a month (after deposit) to get an allotment. It may be good not to give up yet unless they show you a PNA document stating no more 4 coupes in 07. Good luck.

There is a low miles (1300) Blk/Blk CPO C4s In Boulder CO. asking $89K and been there for awhile. i would gather you could get it for $82K
