Default Aluminum Pedals: options/advise please....

Looking for options.... I saw an add for Ultimate Pedals in my new Panorama, and I know Gert has a set, would like opinions and pics if anyone has them handy. Was there a OEM aluminum pedal set?

Thanks in advance,.....

I installed these from EBAY in my P-cars

EBAY SELLER

Great price, quality is excellent - fitting takes about 20 mins

I used self tapping screws in black rather than the fittings provided for a cleaner install - quick trip to Home Depot for the screws, and a couple of $$.

I installed similar pedals on my 996, but mine did not have the rubber insterts. Sorry for the "fuzzy" pic, crappy photographer using a marginal camera.

The EBAY pedal vendor has just jacked his prices up to $150 (plus $25 shipping)...considering they started at $80 he's pricing at what he thinks the market will bear...interestingly, my sense is that this thread apparently had something to do with it.

For that price I'm going to get the real deal instead of knock-offs.

I've always been interested in aluminum pedals (previous M3 and now 997S), but haven't jumped in yet because of my concern for slippage, especially on the track, and when there especially if it's wet. Any of you guys that have aluminum pedals track regularly?

Same here, looks only. My GT3 have stock pedals, which I'll probably keep. The metal ones do slip a bit when wet...

I ordered the Cargraphic set simply for the looks. Costs including the dead pedal were $269. + shipping. I'll post pics after they're installed....
