2) I thought the kit comes with final clear coat already, are you recommending an extra layer on top?

Thanks!

* 1 Yes. new garages often have a smooth finish with a motor- trowel finish. The acid etchies it slightly and the mechanical grip is KEY to years fo lift free paint.
* 2 The kit is a 2 part Epoxy with paint chips and does NOT include a clear coat. It must be purchased sepaaratly along with the small bags of texture (non slip sand-stuff). The clear coat should be applied after a day or two after the epoxy & chips.

Best of luck

Is it better to leave the slab expansion joints or fill them in?
Thanks in advance.

Don't buy any of that consumer based stuff, use what the pro's use for Marine, (my business) and industrial uses.

Nothing comes close to this stuff

We are having a local company do ours next week. 3 steps - grinding floor to get a perfect surface, apply an epoxy base coat (day one) and next day apply the epoxy coating. It is a 2 day process. No muriatic acid.
