That's the wheel / tire combo I currently run, and it doesn't rub.

HOWEVER, you have to be careful with how you get your camber setup (if you are running GT3 Cup control arms) and make sure you also move the strut tower inwards too and not try to get all the negative camber from shims in the control arms (in the latter case the fronts will rub).

I think that with stock camber settings there should be no rubbing issues

I'm running 245/40/18 Front and 315/30/18 Rears with Cargraphic lowering springs and no rubbing problems whatsoever.

Thanks for the info. The car is in the shop getting set up for the spring.
What suspension set up do you have? I ordered the PSS9's but haven't decided on sway bars yet. Any suggestios?

18x8.5 should weigh a little less.. why go with 18x9 fronts if you're only going to run 245mm rubber on them?

So that when he builds up the courage, he can run a 265 up there

8.5x18 and 11x18. Not sure of the offsets. They are Dymag wheels so you could contact Alan at Wheelenhancement and ask him. He'll know.

265f 315r would probably be a good combo. Although you'll probably have to work hard to keep fronts at optimum temps for R compound. 245/305 might just be a faster combo?!?!

Great thanks. Wheel Enhancement doesn't have any 997 Carrera III takeoffs (11" @ rear) so I think I'm going to order a set of BBS LMs.

my car is a Carrera S so I decided to keep the PASM and only change for lower progressive springs. They are well matched for the rebound range of the PAMS shocks. In Sport mode it works great at the track. Use normal mode for everyday use and when its rainning at the track.

What kind of springs have you installed?
