Nice pics and thanks!

I was in production when I tried to change my wheels to these, but if I did, it would send me back further in the line.

I wish I had these done. Maybe I just may change these after all.

Deanski

wow...the speed yellow and black's wheels look awesome. wonder if thats a polished lip or the standard silver paint. its also a good example of what the carrera looks like after a drop (speed yellow lower).

I also have lobsters on my basalt black 4S. I also want a difference but I am quite happy with the durability and strentgh of them and they are light. Getting mine painted in black make my car quite dark overall since I have window tint as well. How would these look in Carrera sport wheel color? can anyone help with a photoshop on a basalt black car

Dino this shouldnt be hard to do... Send your rims I am sure they can be painted ( I have read that wheel enhancement does that, I think the ones you see on the pics I posted are custom painted, not factory...). I'd do a polished lip. I think it would be better than a painted silver lip, although more difficult to maintain... but for you I am sure it would be a sinch... Dr. Shine!

I took my spare lobster wheels to FBL and they outsourced the paint job. I had them painted the same color as the accent color on the turbo wheel which is Slate Grey Code #22D. They machine finished the outer edge and painted everything else. I have a Basalt Black Cab and the anthracite like color is a perfect contrast. I will take some pics once the car is clean again and post. Jim, you can get an in person view the next time you are going to Danbury Porsche if you let me know when.

Thank you! That's my previous car. The lip is polished and those are H&R springs.

This is hysterical.....When I saw the 997S arctic silver with the 'lobster fork' wheels, I thought to myself 'this is the quintessential 911' and bought it....

Meaning, they look like the modern update of the original Fuchs-style wheels....

Thanks, I'll do that. I was thinking of having FBL powder coat them but keep a polished lip, or paint them with the polished lip.

The wheels they did must look stunning with the color!!!

FYI I'll be at the Tech Tatics at FBL on March 3rd!

Deanski
