No matter how often I see a 997 (including my own), I never tire of looking at other people pride and joy. It just reminds of how good I felt when I picked up my car for the first time.

As you know the Iris can get purplish tones in the right light...not sure what the lapis does. I always thought lapis was a lot darker than Iris until I saw them side by side.

Different world....you can confidently buy a car without seing the color chips (have pics from rennlist owners),
do the deal from Asia with a dealer in the NW based on a web search.
Will never visit the dealer or likely meet the sales guy and pick up the car after delivery in the bay area.
Just like buying a gadget from Amazon.
Granted we're not buying these cars for the "great deals we can get"... but I think this scenario (never visitin the dealer), will get you the best price.
