Extended Navigation Feature(s)
This weekend I finally had an opportunity to play with the extended navigation feature on the car (a bit more capabilities than the regular navigation). It allows you to essentially keep a running track on where you have been. Sort of the 21st Century version of dropping breadcrumbs...
It can be done at differing levels of fidelity,--down to .1 miles, and believe it gets distance limited when you do choose that super-fine setting. I ran a course of about 60 miles and had plenty of 'recording' space left. I think it can record about 200 miles of route. It results in a blue line being displayed where you have BEEN, and thus at the end of a long tour you can go back and see where the route went. It can also be stored into memory.
Anyone else use this routinely? I'm still new to it, obviously.

Not routinely on the Pcar. Often on MDX, it have a similar functions. It's a great tool if you do a lot of off road driving where there are no defined roads. Also a good tracker to see where did the kid take the car to.
