hmm...not sure I would either. Had a car a while back (Alfa Spider 3.0 V6....beautiful car) that was "Acid Green". Looked awesome but I was the only one ever to order that color from the dealer and boy did I find it hard to sell it on.......

It's really not a bad color at all.
We just completed Bumper and Door Plugs in this color, along with a few accessories, and I was pleased with the actual color, much better in person than in pics.

It's one of those colors that looks much nicer in person than in pictures. If I were the type of person who picked "flashy" color such as guards red, I would consider Nordic Gold on a Targa. True it may have trouble at resale, but it is a more expensive color to begin with (paint to sample) so I would guess that someone who buys a car in this color should be one that has no problems with selling the car for a few thousand less to move it at resale.

OK... I'm going to go waayyyyy out on a thin and cracking limb here...
I predict that this will be a one-maybe-two year color, and few will sell. Those few will then have the usual resale problem. Then 20 years from now they will be highly-sought-after "rare color" cars.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
FWIW, I live in a town where brightly colored cars on dealership lots are just plain rare - even for commuter cars. I remember seeing a funky green Xterra with out-of-state plates and being shocked as of the 20,000 local ones none are that shade.
My local P-car dealer knows that they have trouble moving Guards Red, let alone yellows or gasp- orange. Nearly everything in their stock is black, silver, grey, or dark blue. They did have a few Cobalt Blue Caymans, though - and they did get a bright white '07 C2S in, which is stunning with the new Turbo-look gunmetal wheels. To sum: that Nordic Gold Targa is probably the only one I will see for quite some time.
