They're beautiful...
I'm prone to curb rash occasionally, ouch... I'm sure it could be patched with carbon goo, but...ouch.

Enjoy!

Man those are really nice!!

I was looking at a set with black/yellow combo, but the cost was too much for a set of wheels. Farnbacher/Loles sells these as well. Very very nice wheels!!

These could be the top of the line of all wheels!! Light, strong and good looking.

I too have PCCB's, that why I was looking at these. Damn that would be one sweet setup, but now it's just a weeee bit much for me now. Besides, I'm looking at the Bilstein PSS9's for PASM. Gotta lower this rig, it's just too damn high.

I'm glad you like them!! I know I sure would!

Regards,
Deanski

H2O, how do like wheelenhancement? I dealt with them once and luke warm relationship. Can you bargan w/ them? I'm looking to upgrade my 19" classic to a HRE541R when my current set of tires needed to be change. They offer me 1k for my classic and 10% discount on the HRE. I think they can do bette, can they?

I have used them for years and I am very pleased with them. My experience is that they are usually always competitive on price, but I imagine they typically don't like to haggle much on price. My view is that for whatever small amount I might save by haggling, I'd rather keep them happy - they always come through for me and they have done favors for me along the way too. I won't go anywhere else. BTW, I almost got the HRE541R's from WE, but ended up with Champion RG5's (from WE).

Alan and Dave are great. I highly recommend Wheelenhancement. In this case, I had to work through them and the N. American distributor for Dymag which made things a bit more complicated. As a general statement, I'd buy from Wheelenhancement before shopping anywhere else, they are that good.

WheelEnhancement has bent over backwards for me as well. Prices aren't necessarily the best, but sometimes you have to pay a bit more for good work. I won't bring my cars anywhere else for wheels/tires.

Default Dymag Carbon Fiber/Magnesium Wheels

After several hundred miles and a nice long mountain drive yesterday I can say these wheels are pretty special. The driving experience is more lively in nearly every dimension. The car accelerates noticably quicker. Brakes are more impressive than ever, and that's saying something. If you've ever driven a car with a lightweight flywheel, that's a good comparison but, with equal benefit on acceleration and decceleration.

But, an added bonus is the steering feel. The front end turns quicker and the steering feels lighter, especially at higher speeds. If you've held a spinning gyroscope, you know how difficult it is to overcome centrifugal force. Well, taking 10lbs off each wheel makes steering wonderfully light and road feedback better than ever. Less unsprung weight allows the wheels to follow the contours of the road/track surface more accurately, improving traction.

Asthetically, these wheels aren't for everyone. But, if performance is your priority, they offer a tangible improvement. As an added bonus, they make guys stop in their tracks when they realize they're looking at a carbon fiber wheel. I've never gotten so many thumbs up gestures from other drivers as I have in the last 10 days.

Over the weekend, I painted the silver centercaps satin black to match the wheels and painted my exhaust tips flat black as well. There is no longer anything chrome or silver on the car. I'll post some pics of the wheels and exhaust tips later in the week. It just looks like pure evil

MC - I guess it's a good thing that you didn't get a Targe, 'cuz then you would have had to paint the "silver window strip" black too.
