Default Lowered C4S with TechArt

After deliberating on which lowering option was best for me I ended up going with TechArt. It is more conservative than others but I think the best option for a PASM car. I had the work done at Lucent Motors in Los Angeles and they did a fantastic job! They know how to set the car up right. Car ride is as good if not better than stock! This is the only photo I have of the car that was taken soon after I got home.

Nice!

Can you still turn PASM on/off or Sport on/off? I'm tempted but I don't want to drive around all the time on stiff mode hehe

Absolutely. Has no effect on sport mode. All works the same. I was surprised how nice the car rides with sport on or off. This was one of the big reasons that I went with TechArt.

Sorry - I'm not aware of any installers in the bay area. Call CEC here in Southern California. They are the distributor for TechArt North America. They might have a name.

I am thinking about lowering my C2 and have been thinking about H&R or Eibach. When you tell that ride is still good I begin to wonder if maybe Techart is the best option.

Did you just install springs? If so how much lowering are we talking about?

The Techart web site says 25 mm lowering. Is the effect 15 mm because the PASM chassi already is lowered 10 mm compared to stock chassi?

How's it dealing with the low front end? Aren't you scraping the front end end more now?

I haven't had any problems. I am real careful going in and out of driveways.

i'm on Techart's and i too approach the driveways with care. doesn't matter though, the splash guards scrape every time and i've actually bottomed out the front spoiler, twice.

You are right, I dont know why it says that though. On my techart spring box it said lowers 997 by 25mm and 997S 15mm. And I would assume it is because the pasm is 10mm lower.
