he knew where i was coming from but definately didn't understand (while he could appreciate) the power of this board (along with 6speedonline).

i'm just happy that 1) my car was fixed without a blemish or time in auto body 2) that i didn't have to pay through the roof 3) that someone else could benefit from my stupidity but thoughtful research

be well all!

When I called him and told him how I found him, he just chuckled. He's coming to my house tomorrow. Really hoping he can get rid of this one bad ding I have above my right rear wheel (truck kicked up some something on the freeway and shot it right into my car).

Can you please tell me how he was able to access this spot (back quarter panel right above the wheel). I have been told its double paneled and requires drilling. I am in NYC. thanks.

Which painless dent removal place would you guys recommend for my Benz which was hit by a drunk driver going northbound on an east-west expressway Saturday night?

Daaayyyaamm Boo.

That **** ain't rubbing out, man. Looks like it's gonna need an amputation, if not major surgery. Or both.

Feel for you. Hope no one was hurt.

Yeah they said they couldn't buff it out unfortunately. Something to do with being able to see the "insides" of the door form the outside of the car. Too bad I didn't get his license plate number (it was hit and run like mad). Hope someone else noticed his erratic driving and made a report. (One of the few really good uses of a cell phone).

Honestly, I have no idea as watching that process makes me nervous. All I can tell you is that I had a very sharp, small mark right above the rear right wheel. Before he started, he said he didn't think he'd be able to remove 100%, but that it would be very close to gone. It is MUCH better than before and I really have to look hard to see it.

As callous as this may sound I was thinking (as I watched this guy tear away at high speed) that the best thing for society at large would be for this guy to kill himself without injuring anyone else. I don't care about the car but I'm furious that there are irresponsible drivers like this on the road.

You're not alone in your feelings bro, at those particular moments of anger. Though it might serve society better if he were to become a paraplegic instead and lecture about the dangers of drunk driving, though it'll probably fall on deaf ears.

Damn, Ben, you've got quite a sadistic streak in you.

Wha??? What are you talkin' about Joe?

You were the one who suggested pumping a couple rounds in the poor SOB. ... I merely said the second one might be painless, depending on your aim!
