In addition to having a wealth of info about Porsches of all types, the guys at the magazine are very responsive. I sent an e-mail message to Excellence describing a problem that I was having, and I received an in-depth respose to my question within a few hours. Also, the guys at Excellence don't pull any punches, and they are far from Porsche apologists.
Don't get me wrong - "Christophorus" and "Panorama" are nice - but too closely tied to the "Mother Company" for any real "honest" opinions...
Remember "Excellence" discussing the rear end issues when the 997 first was released with the variable shocks? An example of some great honest reporting - they were not all "ga-ga" over the car.
Just to say it one more time - Great folks, good reporting and pictures plus Steve Anderson's monthly drawings all make "Excellence" my favorite Porsche rag...
+1 on Excellence customer service. I didn't get my Nov issue and contacted them and was overnighted an issue no questions asked! Needless to say I have prepaid for 3 additional years on top of the 2 years I was already signed up for. Top notch.
