Default Painted Wheel Caps?

I'd like to purchase painted wheel caps. Do they fit all of the stock rims or are they specific to the type of wheel you have? Also, do these just pop out or do you have to take the wheel off?

Which rims? If it's the "S" lobster claw type, yes they fit as I have them on my C2S. They clip in and are removed by a special tool.

I also did the painted valve caps just to add a bit more color in the area.

Thanks for the quick response. Is this special tool included with the wheel caps or do you have to purchase separately? Also, where's the best place to buy these online?

The colored caps do look great. Also suggest adding the colored valve stem caps too. Took about a minute per cap to replace.

I personally would order the factory ones instead of the "hand painted" ones. The factory ones are likely more consistent in appearance than hand painted ones.

For an easy way to remove the caps without buying a special tool or making a special tool, click here.

Thanks for the help everyone. How do I know if they're the factory ones or handpainted? I wasn't aware there was a difference. Are the ones at suncoast or bumperplugs.com factory ones?

I did order the factory ones, and they had to be deleted because I opted for the 19" Turbo wheels. Anybody know why?

I might be completely off but I believe the turbo wheels are polished with painted inner spokes.
I dont think Porsche has polished center caps with a painted logo. they only have a silver painted one that matches the silver painted wheels
You can probably get these from Ralph Boothe though afterwards.

No, you are right on it, I was just suprised the factory didn't have a colored crest to match the wheel.
