I'm 6'1 and have the identical setup with the wheel as well (up and pulled all the way toward self).

Default If you go to PDE the seat adjustment

will have the same description as himichael's, that's exactly what Cass Whitehead tells the class. Same for Vic Elford's book on Porsche driving.

Per Vic, the most common mistake in seating is sitting too high, it should be as low as possible and still see over the wheel, which for most people is all the way down. The seatback will typically be more upright than most people adjust it, however.

As to feeling too low, stick with it and it'll seem normal after a week or two.

I just happened upon this old thread and thought it was interesting. I sit pretty close and makes me wonder if I'm sitting too close... also, why is lower better?

Yowzerz...I thought we decided that we would eliminate these "****" posts...If not, I have one for the group....When putting gas into the car, how much should I bend my arm to achieve the proper flow? I cannot believe someone would ask how to adjust their seat? It's YOUR Seat man...adjust until you are comfortable and then drive the phreaking car and have fun.

I can't believe someone would post about not believing someone would ask how to adjust their seat!

I can certainly spell Phreaking was intentionally spelled that way, so as to not be perceived a curse word by the software used on here, but thank you nonetheless. Regardless, my comment stands.....if you need to be be told how to adjust your seat,........

In proper grammar and ellipsis contains only 3 dots...

I'm just messing with you! I wanted to be super-analytical by criticizing your spelling... that was the joke... I know... not a good one. Nice car btw!
