Default Ordered Center console Leather

and noticed on other cars that this option doesn't give the sticthing on the storage compartment lid. Do I have to order the Storage compartment lid with model name to get the stitching on the lid.

The center console in leather does not involve the storage compartment lid. The storage compartment lid comes in leather as part of the full leather interior. I ordered the center console in leather and this has the stitching basically from the shifter back to the lid. However, there is no stitching on the lid itself.

dsts6 and Dan,

I just double-checked mine and there is no stitching on the lid. Perhaps you do need to get something embossed on the lid as Dan did to get the stitching.

I've just piggy-backed an order for CUV for my car on someone else's VIN. I've already got XMZ and it looked odd without the stitching continuing onto the storage compartment lid. And yes Dan's interior is amazing: I just wish Porsche made it standard!

Why would they give away something people are willing to spend oodles of money on? I think it's super that Porsche gives us so many ways to spend our dollars and differentiate our cars. I would love to earn what Porsche makes just from custom stitching and leather bits

Successful Business Model. That's how they bring us such tasty treats on wheels. Otherwise they'd just be another 'oridinary automaker' no?

Sadly, once upon a time full leather interior" meant something. Now we have to do a lot of research on our own to get what we want. (Their sales arm generally has no clue what all the options look like).
