Default F77 Champion MS/Tubi Video

For those wanting to hear what a TUBI sounds like, here's a video on the Champion Motor Sports F77 car with TUBI. Enjoy the flat 6 music!

Make sure your speakers can go to 11 for this one!

F77 TUBI Sound

Sure, sounds nice, but I wonder if they'll post the photos of when the police visit Champion to bust them for driving like that on public streets and then having the nerve to post it on the web...

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I save my hard driving for the track where I don't have to think about a kid running out into the street to get a ball, or somebody backing out of their driveway.

I do remember watching an AWE video where you could see in the background the police car that had "closed the road" for their video. Hat's off to them. Then there's the Fabspeed video of them driving like maniacs on public streets. I remember the first time I saw that one I emailed Fabspeed to suggest that I was interested in their product, but felt they should not drive like that on the street when you could see home after home along the route. Never got a response.

Sorry for the editorial, but as enthusiasts I think we have to be aware of why so many people think they way we do - whether we drive BMWs or Porsches, a few bad apples can ruin it for all of us. Then again, it could be any car, but my point in posting this here is that we have strong feelings about our cars else we wouldn't have bothered to find this forum or become members (or joined PCA for that matter).

Yeah, I do--expensive!! I know, I know a 997 isn't cheap but $10g on sound!? I just bought the Fabspeed Performance Package for $4500 and it sounds great and it's the max I'd like to spend. That Tubi sounds good, but I'd like to hear some in car and some drive bys not under load. Most of us drive our 911's regularly and having a blaring exhaust could be annoying.

That said I heard a clip of a fellow Rennlistr's 987 w/ Tubi and

Modified Luxury & Exotics Magazine did a write up on the car...
-H&R springs
-20" wheels
-Aero-body kit
-Techquipment roll-bar
-GT3 Seats
-8 piston/4 piston Brembo upgrade w/Pagid Blues
-Champions new Carbon-Fiber Dual Air Box
-Tubi Exhaust
-GIAC Flash
and that cool custom "Man from Chile" Grey Paint job... Looks like a Military Plane color...

Thanks for the info. After reviewing the list I have to say that there is no way that the cost for the transformation is $10K, and if it is, it is tremendous value. Having said that, I don't particularly like the exterior (paint + wheels + aero)

Don't ya just love the price? Geez that's nuts! I mean, come on, it's tubing and cans... Maybe if they had a more reasonable price they could sell more of these. I've seen pics of the CF air box... UGLY. At least Porsche has better design concepts with theirs.

Sure, the Tubi sounds great, but that's a lot of cash for tubing and cans.

As for the video shoot, so they are stupid A-holes doing this on a public street that was not closed. We know better, I mean life is not "Fast and Furious" type driving.

Deanski

That $10K also includes the reflash... After talking to Jonathan @ Brandywine yesterday, I think the whole thing installed would be under $12K for 40-50whp.

That is the word... I dyno'ed my car stock as a baseline, so I'll definitely post the results if I get the F77 kit (or the RUF Kompressor).

The problem Chris is not you reporting it, its the people that advertise such claims... Seriously would anyone think that Porsche left on the table 50 Wheel Power HP ( about 75 crank HP) with adding an air box, exhaust and headers? That is pretty laughable, no offense to you by any means...

Most places advertise exhausts to make 15-20 hp, intakes to make 12 or so, headers another 15-20, and reflash another 12-15. That would add up to the numbers...

I don't disagree - That's why I'd like to see it for myself on the same dyno I did mine stock. Like I said, I'll definitely report when I do it.
