Is there somewhere on the 'net where we can view TSBs?
This forum is terrific! I've been an owner just six months and you guys are my first port of call when I get home in the evening.
There's always something new and interesting for a schmuck like me to learn. (Although, tragically, my car-washing habits have definitely crossed to the Dark Side now I have been seduced by OCBen's tutorials.)
www.renntech.org has all or most all of the TSB's. I think you have to join to view them (I've been a member for several years) but well worth a few bucks.
Renntech does allow you to see the titles, not to be confused with alldata where it shows the description/symptoms and repair process with drawings and such.
Renntech does give paying members access to the full TSB documents. This includes all images and instructions. For example, I just viewed TSB 2601, which gives full instructions on how to install PSE. I can't vouch for how current their TSB list is, but the site is well run. Renntech is a very nice resource, and well worth the nominal membership fee.
Just to clarify...
RennTech.org regular Members (free membership) can only see the TSB listings. RennTech.org Contributing Members (those that contribute to the substantial operating costs of the site) can view all the TSBs.
Our TSBs are updated at the same time that most dealers and independent shops get their TSBs -- monthly.
Renntech.org like Rennlist costs money to operate. And to keep the technical information up-to-date with changes that Porsche makes also costs money.
So just like Rennlist (I am a paying member here) RennTech.org also has paying members.
I, like others, think that both Rennlist and RennTech.org are well worth the small cost. (IMHO of course)
