Default Pics of the air cleaner flapper valve

installed a BMC filter and way over-priced cold-air kit over the weekend so now i have an extra 25-50 butt-o-meter hp (wink...). ANyway here are some pics, in particular, the flapper valve that opens/closes to limit intake sound. Don't remember seeing a pic of the little devil here on the forum. So... it's really loud above 5k rpm, with the PSE, it's almost a bit much (not). Once you understand the sensor connections, it's not hard to lift out the air cleaner housing and replace the air filter -stock or aftermarket. I've used BMC and K&N for years with no ill effects. standard no-affiliation stuff.

I just bought a BMC air filter. I read that after you un plug the maf sensor and another sensor on the air box plus remove the rubber air intake hose you just pull the air box off it;s rubber groments? then the air box is held togehter with torx screws?

Let me know, Mike
