Any referrals to good hand car wash places in Manhattan or vicinity? I have only found one place in the city.
Also looking for a good detail shop. Thanks.

I lived in Manhattan for 8 years,....the closest I ever came to a hand wash were the homeless squeegee guys near the Lincoln tunnel that would squirt their urine on my windshield and ask for money to clean it off.

There's a decent place just across the river in Hoboken, NJ. I forget the name of it but it's on the side closest to Jersey City on a street called "Observer Highway". I used to take my car there and they quite often had expensive sports cars and sedans (even an occasional Ferrari) waiting to be washed.
They also did a pretty good job with detailing vehicles as well.

I saw one the other day. It was about 52nd and the west side hwy in a warehouse. It was on the second floor. Had a "Denon" sign on the corner of the building. Said Hand Wash and Detail on window letters.
Let me know, I was thinking of giving it a try.

Both work well, some like QEW and others like ONR. You can find QEW at many RV stores/ dealers as that's where it got its start in the RV world.
BTW, Optimum polish is very good as well. Quite a lot of people are now using this polish in place of others as it does a really nice job.
Dry like normal unless you have water via reverse osmosis or other "filtered" water.
More info on Autopia on these as they are used often.
