I found the original key, would be happy to send it to you.. The dealer/salesman you leased it from is a total ***%#$@@ or I would contact him.

It is Guards Red 997S, had about 8K on it when I sold it. Look under the rear license plate bracket (remove black plastic), there are two holes the original dealer put there next to where the bolts SHOULD have gone.. then you know it's the car!

 

Gary, if you post the VIN someone can check and see who is listed with Porsche as the current owner and contact that person.

 

God idea, I'll look for it. My guess is it's the leasing company that bought it from me unless they sold it privately..

I have a question to you guys, does your dealers ask for all your keys when you traded in your car? The last two times when I trade in they told me I can just keep those extra keys I had at home.

 

In my case the buyer was a leasing agent in FL. He sent (flew) up a guy that looked like he found him in a dumpster, woke him up and said "Hey, I have a job for you, have a license?" Glad I insisted on payment in full the week before... even then I hated handing over the (one) key...
