Default Odd Lug Bolt Size???

I know the lug nut head size is 19mm EXCEPT one.....Is it 21 mm??? And the shape is round, not hexagonal as the other four. I have a C4S w/ 19" wheels. Any info as to the size and do I need to purchase this lug socket from the dealer. My 19mm will not fit! I also Thanks.........

Is the "odd" one the anti-theft lug bolt ? If so you should have gotten a special socket that fits it when the car weas delivered. Check the tool kit?

If you don't find it, any indy or dealer can hook you up as they should have the master set to id it. I just went thru the ordeal. $45+/- for the key. Darn resellers!!!

If it's the Porsche OEM locking lug bolt I think they are all the same - the key that came with the my 5mm spacers was the same as the key delivered with the car - $45 seems way high.

The indy told me there are a series of different locks. He stated that his master set cost him $800. Could be bs (i doubt it though) to justify the $45, but i didn't have time to question it.

Must have been the luck of the draw that the key from my car and the key from Sunset Imports with the 5mm spacer kit were the same.

Does everybody think these locking lugs are worth the trouble? Why not just replace the locking lug with a regular lug? I know all new 997's come with the locking lugs, but they have caused me more grief than benefit. How many wheel thefts do they really prevent?

Actually, I would prefer NOT to have these wheel locking nuts!
