Came across this old Texaco gas station in a town near us. It's somewhat of a museum and the pumps and retro station design really are a work of art. They should reintroduce gas stations like these and loose some of the convenience store aims of todays filling stations. Filling up may at least be a bit less painful.

Replace the car with a 356 Speedster and you'll have a winner there.

 

Ask them to check the oil, don't say anything else. Watch what happens.

 

This is the gas station in the ghost town of Bodie, CA....a very cool place.

 

Dave are you sure that's a gas station and not a scud missile launch site?

 

I think there's more advanced technology in that old station than in a Scud.
