Default Wheels and Wipers....

I'm taking a small poll about rear window wipers, and really this question is targeted to people who drive their car year 'round.

If you have a rear wiper, is it a must? Do you hate it? Would you put one on again? I'd appreciate any feed back as I'll be driving my C2 all year around.

And 2ndly, does anyone have a picture of Carrera Sport Wheel, painted black?

Thanks fellers!!

Don't have one and don't want one. Might feel differently if I lived in a different climate.

I'm in the right climate and I don't really like the look of the rear wiper...too econo-hatch IMHO.

I always wanted one and have one on my S. Didn't realize no washer in rear.
Use it occasionally, none of my previous 3 911's had it.
Do you need it, NO!

You need to add another poll line: " I have one and am having it removed!!!" That's me and it's gone this Tuesday!!

Yep don't have one don't want one.
Use Rain-X on the back and you won't have a problem.

I ordered it; it was kind of a "well I should probably have this" option for me. When the car is stationary in rain, the wiper definitely helps, but I've probably only used it twice since getting the car a year ago. More often, it gets in the way of washing the car.

I use mine all the time but then again, I live in the UK. It's handy for standing water when moving from stationery not to mention if there's been a sprinkling of snow.

I will definitely have it on my next 911 but would prefer it with a washer.

On my Cayenne - I am glad I have it - for my 911 I did not order one and am glad I didn't...

Thank goodness, I am old enough (and still young enough) to wipe my own rear!

I remember this old "Cannon Ball" type movie where a team was driving a Ferrari rag top and when his co-pilot said "There's a cop in behind you, look in the mirror..." the driver ripped off the mirror, threw it behind him and said "We don't care what's behind us..." Moral of the story is how badly do you need to see right behind you in the rain?

Don't have one don't want one. I live in the UK and although I have yet to get through my first winter with this car I have driven in some severe weather with it. Also I'm not sure how useful a rear wiper without a washer might be for anything other than snow and thanks to global warming that's been a rare occurrance in the Midlands for the last four or five years now.

Good drivers ALWAYS scan what's behind you. You never know if someone is hanging around your rear! LOL

Besides, if you're one of the few who doesn't 'scan your rearview' you're def. a dangerous driver. let me know what your plate says so I can steer clear......
