Eric,
Have they also tested this with the satellite (XM or Sirius) installations in cars? Last I heard on the Nav-TV unit they were testing that. I am really interested, but have the Sirius install in my car and don't want to have issues with the Ipod install.
You always represent great products
so I would only expect more of the same. BTW, those Cayman side vents also have me thinking...
Thanks,
Mike - Seattle

Yes, yes, and yes.
The units are working fine. The last round of testing that's been underway for a couple of weeks relates only to the cables/connections.
Group Buy is still going on, still available. Final pricing is tbd based on our earlier agreement with Dension, and on the size of the initial order for the group buy.
Details will be out very shortly, at which time we will have final pricing, deposit requirements, product details, etc. and will email that to everyone on the group buy list.
Thanks.

I don't believe it was ever confirmed as to whether the Dension units would also work with the satellite radio install (i.e. the Cayenne-like OEM units). Do you have any current information on this?
Thanks.

Eric,
any update on this?
also, since we're just waiting for cables/connections testing to conclude, any info on the specs/limitations?
e.g., how many playlists, how many entries per playlist, how long does it take the playlist to be loaded, how long to switch from songs, what criteria can you select songs by (artist, album, playlist, genre, etc.), how long to display the name of the song on the radio once selected, etc.
also, what's installation going to be like? if you already have the CD changer, is it just plug & play - i.e., does it use an adapter to use the same wiring harness as the CD changer, or is additional wiring required?
Probably makes sense to begin discussion what works well and what doesn't to help decide whether it's worth getting or not so we're ready when the group buy begins.
any other questions I've missed?
