Default I've changed my mind....

I posted earlier that I went to Rhode Island today to sit in a couple different cars so I could make a decision regarding sport seats vs standard seats.

The trip caused me to change my mind about the entire appearance of the car as well. Drat...!! Crap...!!

My originally configured car was going to be Forest Green with sand beige interior. Good look IMO. Not ...!

I saw 2 green cars. Neither were Forest Green, but they were green. I did not like the look of the green on a 911. I guess that is why I see NO green 911s as I drive thru many dealerships, eh?

What was I thinking? I did like my dark green Chevy truck, tho.

I decided to do a grey car. I have had about a dozen silver cars and altho they show little dirt, I'm tired of silver. TIRED...! I still have 3 silver vehicles on the property now.

So, I'm looking at Atlas (darker) or Meteor (lighter) grey. I'm tending toward Meteor. Closer to silver, eh?

Then, I'm going with black full leather, *** (electrified), sport chrono, larger steering wheel, carbon package, NAV, self dimming, PSE, park assist, heated seats, Carrera sport wheels. I hope that's all ... getting pretty pricey.

I'd like to see a comparison of Atlas vs Meteor if I could. Perhaps someone has a couple photogs of these various shades. I'd appreciate that.

Thanx again for all the help, folks.

I just ordered a 987 S and I was torn between Atlas and Meteor. Meteor is very close to Seal, but slightly darker, especially in darker light it looks almost like slate grey. Atlas, on the other hand, is dark. It looks a lot like Basalt, but with a blue-ish hue in bright sun light. Because my CS is Basalt, I decided to order Meteor for the 987S (with a black leather interior). I also think the lighter grey shows the curves of the car a little better.

I think they are both really great colors...definitely my two favorites.

Not "in the flesh", but the chip in the book looks very like my titanium silver M5s finish, or Kris's ?? silver E350 Merc. Yeah, I'm partial to silver cars, but I don't think I'd spring for the extra coin to have another exclusive color in the garage.

I need some new stuff.

I'm green with envy!
Glad you came to your conclusion before hand rather than it sitting in your driveway and hatin' it.
Good luck on the grey/silver decision.
