Default Looking For Storage Compartment Liner

I have seen it for sale before, but cannot remember where. It fits in the large storage area in the front trunk.

Looks like a plastic bucket.

Sounds more to me like he's asking about this:

Front luggage compartment liner, high-sided
High-density polymer luggage compartment liner is tough, waterproof and washable - perfect for protecting front luggage compartments against dirt and debris. Cleverly equipped with handles, making it suitable for transportation cargo to and from your car. For vehicles with two-wheel drive only.

Gave up my MB this week, so the 997 is my "grocery-getter" now.

The liner will provide some extra protection and the handles will make it easy to carry stuff into the kitchen. I ordered the one from Suncoast.

Again thanks and happy motoring!

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a rubber liner for the frunk? I know porsche sells a hard plastic liner but i'm looking for a liner that is rubber with ~2" side walls. I had one for my BMW from Weathertech and it was nice to keep the cargo from sliding and it saved me when the cap came off a quart of oil one time. Weathertech doesn't have a model that will fit the porsche.

I've modified my trunk with a false bottom to accomodate my spare tire so my frunk floor is a about 6" higher than most.

Thanks

Good move. I use this liner and it provides great peace of mind for those of us who use our Porsches as daily drivers.

I use the liner simply for the purpose of protecting the interior compartment from spills. It certainly can be used to transport items to and from the vehicle, but do note that the plastic is very rigid, making it necessary to maneuver it a bit to properly seat and unseat the liner from the compartment without scraping against other plastic components.

Highly recommended!

Have you considered trying the Porsche liner? It might just be able to fit.

My liner actually is placed on top of a pair of Doordefenders---see the luggage compartment photo in my album---so it is possible to store smaller items underneath the liner. Your arrangement, of course, takes up more space than the Dooordefenders, but it still might work.
