Will Dealers Swap Wheels
I found a Carrera S on the lot today of my local dealership. I don't like the wheels that are on it, will most dealers swap them with other stock wheels or will they charge for that?

My dealer here in tampa did. They had swapped off the 19inch S wheels on my 06 997s for 18inch regular carrera wheels before I bought it. That was fine with me since I like the 18 inch Carrera III style better and they gave me a $2000.00 credit off the car. Not to mention the car rides smoother on the 18's becasue of more side wall on the tire and the wheels are lighter.

My dealer swapped the wheels for me. Still charged me the option price for the Carrera Classic wheels, but didn't charge me for the labor.

My dealer offered to swap UP to the Carrera S type 19" from the current Carrera Classics on my non-S 997. Wanted to add $2000-2500 roughly to the deal. I told him no thanks; I'll keep my 18" Classics and the negotiated deal price which was almost $3k cheaper roughly. Especially since I still had the aftermarket wheels I'd taken off the 996 I was trading to them at that time! 
So its possible! Ask em. What's there to lose if you really want em?
