Time for a new dealer! This is the biggest bunch of nonsense I have ever heard. There are many very good folks on the East Coast to work with on your needs. Plenty of guys out your way can likely give you a few good suggestions on who to go with ...

Good luck and keep us informed on the progress - you'll love the 997TT!!!

you dealer is full of it.
i will never let dealer ppi my car. they look at it and cut me a chk, else they dont get my business. my guy knows how i drive my cars and how they are maintained. and he knows i will buy more cars from him. no negotiation has ever lasted more than 5 min in any deals.

tell they dealer how much you want. they are still making money on the trade in as well as any new cars they sell you , even if sold at invoice.

He told me to be careful of servicing my car. He said "you're a smart guy - i'm sure you know what I'm talking about". I told him "I must not be that smart because I don't know WTF you're talking about". He asked when was the last time it was in for service. told him a few weeks ago to have a flat tire fixed and another time right after delivery to replace a loose cat converter. He told me they record everything. I told him I'm aware of that but I don't race the car/track the car.

LOL Maybe he has you confused with someone else. The hypocricy among manufacturers is mind blowing. So many of them brag about the performance of the sports cars they build, but heaven help you if you explore the limits of these cars. Some will even invalidate your warranty if they determine that you've "abused" your car by participating in autoX events.

BS. Everytime I trade a car in, all they do is check it out visually.

WOW you just got this 997S a few months ago and now ready for a new car. How many miles on it? Can't be that much?
Best of luck with your dealer.

if they record everything, then why the F%$* can't they figure out how to make my Sat radio, phone and nav all work at once.. everytime i drive. It still isn't working and they can't FIND what is wrong or duplicate the problem with the PCM. Doesn't sound like they record diddly squat.

Yeah, you're right. Got the S in March but I'm not looking for the TT now. Just planning Will shoot for next summer or see about '08's in the fall? Not sure yet. Actually, I have a LOT of miles on it!
