Extended Warranty
My credit union (Financial Resources), where I am financing the purchase, has offered me the extended warranty for additional 5 Yrs / 75000 Miles @ $ 2700 (with no deductable) or $ 1700 (with $250 deductable).
I was told that the car will always be serviced at the authorized dealers.
Does anyone have any personal experience with the Credit union marketed extended warranties.
FYI.. I just bought 2005 C2 instead of waiting for ever for ordered 2007 C4.
Thanks

Sounds interesting. Who's the underwriter? Before dumping any money on this make sure they're going to pay. Do some research as there are stories of denials for various claims by the 3rd party providers. The price is good can anyone else take advantage of it?
Indeed, make sure you know who the company is that is providing the warranty. Often the bank or dealership is just acting as the seller of the warranty. I have had Warranty Direct (they were great and paid in line with the agreement) and now have Easy Care (have had no claims yet but so far they have been a total pain to deal with. It took 6 months for me to receive the warranty booklet and get all the paper work done, re-done, re-re-done etc.).
