Smile Excellence

I sent the tech section of Excellence an email today asking for their help with two important problems talked about on this board. 1) The hesitation issue and 2) The extra soot in the exhaust pipe only on one side. Excellence has a way of getting information out of Porsche over the years and I'm hoping they can help here. I don't know if they just reply to me via email or only in the magazine or both; either way I'll report back on their findings. Hope it helps us all!

Great idea. You're right, they do have a way of extracting information from them.

Thanks guys. I would only ask/suggest that if you are having either of these issues please schedule an appointment with the Porsche regional/district service rep as this will be the best and quickest way to get Porsche involved possibly issuing a future TSB and/or at least addressing your specific car. All you need to do is ask your dealership's service manager to schedule an appointment with the rep next time he/she visits which is at least monthly. The rep will report these issues directly to Porsche which will help all of us with a future remedy; so the more that see their rep, the better for all.
