Default First twisty tiptronic mountain road, post 2000

I was worried if I should of got the 6 speed Manuel. Just as I hit 2000 miles I took a remote mountain road in Southern New Mexico to see what the tiptronic would do. It didn't take long to make it shift when I wanted it to. I found it wasn't hard hit the paddles. When to use manual or drive. Needless to say this was akin to a religious experience.

I will say I think it needs a 6th gear and it's not as controllable as the manual. It has the last word on when it shifts. I may get better at it when I get a few more hours under my belt, but it's far better than the CLK 55 I had once

This car just cruises on the interstate much better than my 996 and 993 Plus it sticks to road like glue as only a Porsche can. Easily going around 25mph corners and 35's at over twice that speed.

A Porsche is a Porsche is a Porsche!

Just thank whoever the powers that may be you've got such a machine.
