Defroster?

Default Defroster?
Every time I use the defroster the temperature automatically goes to 72 degrees and continues to blow warm air even if I lower the temp to "low". The defroster has worked this way since picking the car up in May. Wondering if this is a defect or SOP. Anybody out there having similar defroster issues? TIA.

This is just what mine does. Never had a car that did this. I love my Pcar, of course, but this is one of those little details that drives ya crazy!
