Default Mini Road Trip!

This was short road trip but a fun one.

I had a couple of unexpected free days so I had hard time deciding what to do ........................................................................ ......................................

ROADTRIP!!!!!

Las Vegas to LA. Then LA to SF via Pacific Coast Highway. Sidetrip to Santa Ynez wine country. SF back to Vegas. 1500 miles in 48 hours. The car was great. The weather was great. The traffic was light. Route 1 between San Simeon and Monterey should be mandatory driving for all Porsche owners.

Enjoy the ride

Sounds like you had a great trip. Your car is beautiful and the pics are excellent. I recently completed a 1,200 mile RT in 4 days, but your 1,500 miles in 48 hours easily tops mine.

I'm sure that you will agree, the miles roll by so effortlessly. I did not plan to do it all in 2 days. I initially planned for 3-4 days but I was having fun so why stop?

I'll add, a side trip through Carmel Valley is not to be missed. I drive Hwy1 daily, and live 40 min from there.

May be sooner than you think. I'm already planning my next trip. Just got to find a good excuse to justify driving up that way. Shouldn't take me too long.

Best way to get to know your 911. I purchased mine from Ira Porsche in the Boston area and drove it off the lot back to NY, what a great ride and great way to break it in too.

I had my 2001 shipped to LA for a buyer and have driven that PCH many times, never get tired of it.

Thanks for the pics,
Rob
