The car currently has dealer plates, because the dealership did not have a chance to register the car before I picked it up. As for the clear side markers, it was not an option. I asked Danbury Porsche to order them for me, and they install it before I picked it up.

Congrats John, Malachy was my salesman as well. The car looks awesome, enjoy. If you want any input on SAT radio, Telephone SIM module and/or iPod integration let me know. I live just a few minutes from the dealer. Also, I know a great installer for a k40 Calibre system and Armor Fend. All are local and will come to your house or office.

I am interested in the iPod integration, and would appreciate a note on how that is working out. I had Danbury install the K40, and the 3M clear-bra. Thanks.

So far the system works very well. I have two remaining issues that Nav-tv is looking into today. They are minor issues but need to be resolved. The issues are the song name not refreshing in the main menu and the display function within INFO/CD INFO is not displaying properly. Are other features and functions are now wroking correctly. I highly recommend the integration kit and the install takes an hour or so.

I agree! Best dealership in the area IMHO.

Hope to see you out on the roads!

K40: MUST HAVE in these cars! Have them put the LED's up high between the tach and spedo. My LED's are mounted lower by the area below the cluster. Difficult to see where I have the steering wheel, but at least you also hear it!

Armorfend (Armorglove): Another MUST HAVE! If you love your finish, these cars a stone magnet!

Sat: Works well for me! Lonnie did my Sat install. Coverage can drop-off for Sirius. More so if driving through tree lined areas. Hopefully Sirius improves coverage and Porsche gets a better antenna for the 997.

IPOD: Can't say, I have the 6-CD Changer. Nice to have though!

Enjoy the new toy before winter sets in!
