Default Install Ipod and bluetooth phone question

Al and Eds says $1400 to install Nav-tv's ipod kit and Parrot 3100 for my treo 650.

1. Is this too expensive and if so does anyone know a better professional installer and is it better to get "Ray-Tel" Bluetooth instead? It's an additional $250.

I don't have one so I can say as to the install, but it seems like a lot to me. I'll be a laggard on this deivice as it's just too much for what you get.

parrot 3100 at frye's: $199

you need a small speaker. would not touch factory speakers.

would take about 1 hour to install yourself.

in regards to the the NAVTV ipod stuff, thought people were having problems with it no working so well if you had the satellite radio installed... apparently works well with NAV/BOSE/ +- CD changer....
