my sister used to work in a bad area downtown and rode her bike everydaqy to work v- not overly bad, but bad enough she had a can of bear spray on her handlebars.
Needless to say they kind of knew what it was.

Pickup trucks..
I thought I was the only one who was having trouble with these idiots in pickup trucks. Be it on the freeway, or on city streets, it seems that I constantly have one filling up my rear view mirror. And they always seem to want to race.... go figure.
A few days ago I was driving on one of our main streets, with traffic lights about every 2 or 3 blocks. Sitting at one of the lights, a young guy with his buddy in a Dodge truck with a Viper engine in it (SR10?) pulls up next to me. Says nice car, I say nice truck. He says, wanna race to the next light? I am thinking, buddy, the next light is about 200 feet away..... and by the way, it's red......
I just said no thanks, I am an old fart, and I don't race..... except on the track...
And yes, I did catch up to them at the next light, which was still red when I got there.......
