Jeff, it's from Sewanee,TN looking down the valley towards Winchester and beyond.

Would love to do the Dragon soon... no plans when though. Maybe a bunch of us arrange a Dragon meet?

Rennlisters are welcome to stay at mine...
We're at least 3 hours away from the Dragon. It would be nice to have an experienced Dragoner in the group... how about we start getting this organised?

The camera is an old Sony DSC505 with the Zeiss lens. It works for me and the images require no touching up at all except resizing. The images are "as is". I am reluctant to change cameras. Having said that I think I will soon upgrade to the new DSC H2.

Its a tragedy that Porsche will no longer offer Seal Grey. Haku, your car is flat out gorgeous!

I thought Seal Grey was still available, just bumped from the $800 something option to the higher cost ($3,000 +) option?

I think you're correct. I do however think that it'll hurt to pay $3k especially knowing that it was $800 earlier.

My dealer stated that a lot of customers are cheesed off at Seal Grey being so pricey... and Meteor being made available later into the 07 production cycle.

AWESOME CAR!!! I love it! Now go unplug that sports exhaust and hear what she's supposed to sound like!

The pics are great too!

Now, DO NOT get the DSC H2 - Sony has gone to crap. I used to own a DSC-S75 and the thing made me look like a pro, but my DSC H1 I bought when my S75 was stolen has been pathetic. I've been a lifelong Sony fanboy, but the last 4 Sony products I've bought (VCR, camcorder, DVD Changer, and H1) have been absolute crap. PLEASE don't waste your money, or at least purchase from a place with a great return policy as you'll regret getting the H2.

Thanks so much for your advice. I think I may just stick to what I have and have a play with some of my brothers high end digi equipment before deciding which way to go. Thats a shame about Sony...
My thanks again.

The exhaust gets unplugged just as soon as I find out where to get the valve. I called Suncoast and they couldn't help. Any suggestions? I don't want to yank out the brown connector.

See attached. You can unplug it and then it is best to just zip tie it to the adjacent hose. You can put electrical tape around both ends.

I spoke with my service advisor at Barrier Porsche about doing this and they said they haven't seen any issues with people leaving it disconnected since this first started to appear on the 996's. They said it is totally fine to do this.

If you have X51 it is to the left instead of to the right in the engine bay. Let me know if you have X51 and I'll send you a different picture.
