I am seeing a number of sets of 18" 997 Carrera III wheels on the market. Trying to find out the weight of these wheels...or at least in relation to the 996 MY02 5-spoke wheels?

The rear wheels and fully inflated tires wiegh 54lbs.

 

Thanks!!! Not knowing the type of rear tire a 285/30 or 265/40 is probably in the 26-30 lbs range which would make the rear wheels 24-28 lbs each for the rears and that would make the fronts in the 22-26 lbs range????

Confirms that I am looking in the range of 23-25 lbs for the rears (10X18) and 20-23 lbs for the fronts (8X18).

I love seeing the styling cues from the 993 in the 997!!! Great looking cars!!!!!

 

Saw a 993 with those rims just a few weeks back (C2S) and it was moving just fine with those rims on it...
