Question Laser jammers with V1

I recently bought a V1 with a concealed display (would love to know if anyone mounted this configuration) for my C2S. In my search, I noticed many forums related to blocking laser, which is legal in many states, using various brands. Names like Blinder M40, Laser Pro Prk, Escort diffusers, et al.
Has anyone used these? Installed them through the rubber front bumper with advice?
I know that RADAR jamming is illegal everywhere, but not LASER jamming.

I've heard very good things about the above mentioned products but no personal experience using them. In Arizona they almost exclusively seem to use old fashioned radar traps and/or "Insta-On" radar.

If laser was used in my area there is zero chance that I would not have one installed.

I have a LaserBlinder in one of my other cars. It has saved me from 2 laser tickets. When it goes off your are supposed to slow down and turn it off so they get a reading. One of the times I didn't turn it off. I saw the cop (stationary on a motorcycle) lower the gun into his lap and look at it strangely as I was going on by. He never got a signal and probably thought his gun was broken. I only have a LaserBlinder in front. The best setup (tried and true from multiple One-Lap participants) is a LaserBlinder mounted in the bumper up front and a K40 license braket in back. Location of the LaserBlinder units in the bumpers relative to lighting assemblies is crucial for the best protection.

Lidatek and others automatically do this. They jam for a short period (3seconds maybe) and then shut off. THe cop will get a reading but of course after you slowed down. Removes some of the suspicion I guess.

Back in 2002 I bought a Phazer Laser and Radar jammer. I owned a Radar Gun that I used for boat racing and sports. I tested the Phazer and It did not work at all. I took it back to Brookstone in the mall and exchanged it for another. It did not work and they gave me another and it did not work either. I called the Phazer company and could not get a straight answer out of them. Brookstone gave me my money back.

I use a Lidatek that is integrated into my V1 display, so even if my V1 is "off" and I get hit with laser, I will still get the audible and visual alert. Works great and has saved me in the past. The transponder is mounted in the black area under the bumper. Best way I can describe - I can take a pic if you'd like.

I have the Lidatek in all my cars, it has saved me several times, but I must warn you it is not perfect, I just got a ticket a few weeks ago with laser, my V1 went off but the Lidatek didn’t even make a sound. I honestly think it was the location of the cop, I was coming around a down hill curve so the Lidatek didn’t see the beam. You almost get a false sense of security with all this technology, but I would rather have it than not.

don't just count the times it saves you when driving in a spirited way. I can't believe how often people in my area get tickets on wide open 6 lane roads where the speed limit is 45 (and they'll ticket you for going 55 with traffic).
