Default A moment of silence..

For all the bugs I assinated on the way home to LA from Portland OR, in the new TT.

It was a fantastic 1400 mile drive that involved some coast, some mountain roads, a little CHP, a lot of fun. It started at the Porsche Parade and ended at the Hollywood sign. Enjoy the pics..

-- Oh, I will get into more detail later but just to hold you over, THE 997TT is nothing less than AMAZING. It is by far, hands down, the fastest vehicle I have EVER driven. It handles like nothing else and I barely was able to dip into the power because of break in.
-- I hate to admit it but it completely blows away my 993 (of course my C2S is naturally aspirated, so that's not a fair comparison.)
Yes, there is turbo lag but it doesn't take anything away from the ridicilous performance of this vehicle.
There is this button, it's called the sport button. It makes the car go from LEAR JET to F-18 when depressed. I still can't believe what this car can do.

The only complaint I have.. An annoying rattle that seems to come and go. I will have to have the stealer chase it down.
NO REGRETS on this car.. Worth EVERY penny.. If your thinking about it, GO GET IT....

Good pictures, thanks for putting them up here. I guess you particularly like the first, the 4th and the last shot

Nice - two thumbs up!

If you can't do euro delivery, then that has to be the 2nd best possible way to take delivery of a Porsche.

Dude, now do you believe me, would I let you down? Is it the best or what? I knew you'd like it... I am really happy for you, can't wait to see it in person....

Seth, the rattle is the ashtray hole thingy in the front part of the tray jiggling around I'd bet. Mine has that rattle.

If you shove your finger underneath it and keep it still - no rattle. Should be an easy fix at the dealer.
