The mirror whistling issue was covered here some time back. As mdonline suggests, tape it up to eliminate it as the problem. When they are installed correctly the mirrors do not contribute any noise. (I'm fortunate that it didn't manifest itself in my cab,--as I experienced it in a demo car one day last year).

Yes, they seemed to have resolved this issue for 06 models (and probably some 05's). I was thrilled when mine didn't do it because I was aware of what a nuisance it was.
