Chances are good that the poles will show you the way earlier than having to react from when you hit the peak of the hill. (In reality,--we shouldn't be outdriving our visibility).

As far as the collision on Mailbu Canyon, it did involve a Porsche 
and it was a roll over but did not go over the side. Unknown what the extent of the injuries were.
