Moe Mistry - Awesome Detailer!
To see some of Moe's work on my 997TT, check out the thread in the 997TT forum. Here's a couple of shots of Moe from Glistening Perfection working on the car this evening:
Thanks Moe!

M-Dog,
I can't make out the types of bikes in the background. Help me out. Nice to see a guy who's into Porsches and motorcyles.
I've also got a K1200RS and an R1200GS. Always difficult to choose which to take into work.

I know that he has advised me on zymol and I believe he supplies them as well... along with others.

I've used HD Cleanse with great success. Following a good clay job, use this to smooth and clean the surface. It is incredibly effective providing a very, very smooth glassy finish. It's not cheap, but it's very effective.

For those wantinga bit more info on the detailing aspects, there are two good sites you can review.
One is Autopia.org and the other is Detailcity.org
Full of professional and enthusiast detailers and product reviews.
For slightly not-so-new finish, you can go with P21S Paintwork Cleanser after claying the finish. If this does not resolve minor marring, then you would need to step up to a power polisher (random orbital) like a Porter Cable or "PC" and a polishing pad with a slightly more aggressive polish.
However, if you just want to hide some very light marring, a good glaze will fill the marring and ready it for your wax. 3M, Meguiars, Clearkote and of coarse Zymol.
Also, besides waxes, sealants have now matured to warmer, glossy looking products which last much longer than any wax can, take less effort when washing and beads rain like mad.
If you enjoy the "wax-on/wax-off" therapy, then stay with a good glaze and wax.

Deanski

The finish on my car came out beautifully after peeling the factory pvc paper coating from the paint, there are no swirls. I prefer the slightly toned down look of the finish from the Zymol products. It did in fact take 18 hours of work to prep the car correctly and swirl free. I couldn't be happier with the car and Moe's work.
If you live within his service area in Southern California, I strongly recommend him, not only will he do a great job on your car, but he will be happy to teach you the proper techniques to wash and care for the care in between details.
