Value check, please!
I was originally looking at some newer 996's but might just "bite the bullet' and get a 997. With that in mind, I've been looking at several 2005 S cars with original MSRP's of around $87-$89K. (It looks like 2006's really are being offered with a $10K plus discount ...I've checked with a couple of dealers this weekend and verified it).
Since I can get a new 2006 S with the options I want for just under $80K, how much should these 2005 S cars be selling for? The cars I am looking at are all under 10K miles and have the options I want.
Thanks!

MMD,
The prospect of getting a "like new" '05 for more than $20K under MSRP is appealing. I'll have to balance my desire for a deal versus the potential problems of a first year model run.
Why can't these decisions be easy?
