raised and lowered the rear sopiler manually while my car was in the garage and running. i can hear a squeak as the spoiler raises and retracts. can i add lube somewhere? or just take it in? anyone else have this prob with the 997 or earlier models?

It shouldn't squeak. Call your dealer and have the tech check it out. Remember do everything under warranty.

I had the same problem. They couldn't fix it and they have ordered a new motor for the spoiler, which I have to go back for when the part is in.

Don't mess with it IMO take her in under warranty and get the problem on file.
