Default new car!!!!

new car came in last friday. dealer got it all ready with clear bra that day then left that nite for a road trip up the coast from Pleasant Hill, ca. (by S.F.) to Vancover Canada.WOW! The car is awsome! owned a 99' coupe and it doesn't compare. geat power, great handeling, very nice interior. I think the bose sounds good, not as bad as everyone says but have a better stereo in my truck.I like nav. but it does take getting used to, little diff. than in my G35. All the buttons and car computer take alittle getting used to too but I like that sort of thing. Sports seats, very very comfortable. My back is very picky, in my G35 my back would hurt after about an hr. in the sports seat drove from Canada to Pleasant Hill in one shot (about 950 miles) no prob. as far as squeaks and things. sun roof when open just put a shim to stop that. A little rattle from the dash, that just started then stoped,??? then the pas. seat rattled, just sat in it and locked it in to position (kind of in between . the drink holders rattled a little on very rough road ( they were open) over all I'm very, very happy with the car!!!I've had many new cars and they all have had little squeaks but usualy they go away or I find it and fix it. now I hope the picks go through.--------mike

Shaweet Mike,

I had similar rattles as you describe, the dealer put some felt around the rattling front speakers and no more rattles.

Hope you can make it to the 8am Saturday morning meets at Santana Row in San Jose.

Congrats on the new car. Now with all the rumours going on with dealers and PCNA wanting to void warranty on US cars in Canada, what will you do when its time to have it fixed??

Thanks Mike....Kenesis F110's are ultra light and nicely crafted. I feel like the poster child for these bad boyz, but they seem to work well on the 997
