GROUP BUY --PSE-- Who's interested??
If we can obtain a "reasonable" discount, who would be interested in participating in a "Group-Buy" situation? We are testing the waters and of course you're never committed to buy, but It would be nice to know who would participate in such a deal. As you may or may not be aware of, our Group Buy for the Smart Top went very well, saving participants over $100 each on a great piece of equipment.
I would tell everyone that we would probably need 10 minimum and 20 for a good deal and 30 for a great deal. If we can't save an amount material for participation, then forget-about-it.
Please post here and let's see how many interested parties we have.

I'm interested. Spoke with my local dealer about it yesterday. He'd already been looking at a buy for a few (5 - 7) of his customers. Probably won't hear from him for a week, or two.

If it's an option I'd just want PSE mufflers, open all the time of course..... not interested in all the extra electronics for silencing etc....
BTW, to date what is the best price folks have seen on a PSE?

I checked this morning .
( For about 10 group buy )
We can get the PSE ( complete with all controls ) for around $1600
and complete installation for under $400
(and maybe a little less if we get more buyers)
Installation of course is of interest only to those near Philadelphia area.
Anyone else so far?

That's not good enough. BTW, anyone who cares to get quotes, please leave the name of the dealer so we have something to use as a benchmark that must be beat. I say we go for twenty. If there are any nay sayers please speak now, otherwise let's let the thread ride. We're gaining momentum...
Also, negotiating installation probably isn't fair to the rest of the interested parties as we're all not in the same city. I propose we concentrate on the equipment given we're so dispursed and worry about installing later with our local dealers or mechanics. The eqpt is the big ticket item here. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.
