Default Porsche Clock

Not the one in the car.

I was at Hemmings in Bennington, Vermont (great store/gas station by the way) and saw several clocks with different cars as the face--Chevies, Fords, etc. Couldn't find one for Porsche. Fairly expensive although some were neon. Looked all over the internet. found one or two but somewhat expensive and not to my liking. Went online and found a clock parts company, took a picture of my wheel, put it into photoshop and made the face. see avatar at left. The clock numbers and basic clock were created by a photoshop action downloaded from the adobe site. You need to fool around with the colors to get exactly what you want and change the face. total cost about $12 and innumerable hours from past years sitting on my butt playing with photoshop. I would be interested if others have thoughts for other porsche faces. tried the porsche crest. my car. but settled on the wheels as the right geometry.

Indeed - nice clock. I'm going to try to do one.
